I don’t do well in hot weather. “I’m hot!” is a frequent complaint, to which K replies, “Yes you are!”
Tonight was one such night. When faced with the prospect of “It’s too Darn Hot,” K came up with a solution. He had me strip and lie under the ceiling fan over our bed. Then he rubbed a cool, wet washcloth over my skin repeatedly until I felt cool.
Evaporation is a wonderful thing. Especially since it was no longer too darn hot.
